I guess I’m not the only one!

The Grass is not Greener

We’ve all done it… Bought that lottery ticket. Dropped that business card into that fish bowl for a raffle (“Win free lunch at Subway for a year!”) Or in my case, entered (daily) to win the HGTV dream home (it’s MINE, people!) Why do we do this? Do you ever win? Do you even know anyone who has ever won something big…anything at all?

One year I won a Sony DVD player at a company raffle, but the odds of winning that baby were probably around one in 50…and that is the ONLY thing I have ever won, ever.

The odds of winning *something big* are quite humbling. According to an NPR story, the odds of winning the recent Mega Millions Lottery was one in 175 million (or put more simply, you’re about 100 times more likely to die of a flesh-eating bacteria than you are to win that…
